I will give this a look… What version of SLIC are you using, exactly? Can you dump the versions from the relevant versions.py file and send them please? I think that at some point SLIC stopped supporting tessellated volumes, but Jeremy or Norman should confirm. The v3 detectors are the only detectors in the hps-java trunk that use a tessellated volume. Data previously generated by SLIC using the v3 detectors can still be run through hps-java. Suggestion: The data on tape uses the v6 detector. Maybe you don't need to run v3.
