Hi Jeremy,

Did you ever make any progress on this issue? I'm running several of the integration test and the amount of output is really slowing things down.

Weird.  All my attempts to turn this off are not working.  I wonder if somehow Maven forces all log messages to show up on the console...

It's ignorable, and it should not be getting printed. If I run MCReconTest I get the messages; if outside of the test I run the same steering file
(HPS2014OfflineTruthRecon.lcsim) on the same test file, I don't get the messages. So something is wrong with how you're running the test.

Some info that should help you debug: the messages are printed by freehep-jminuit, which is used by ShaperLinearFitAlgorithm, which is called by ShaperPileupFitAlgorithm, which is called by RawTrackerHitFitterDriver. The messages are supposed to be turned off by ShaperLinearFitAlgorithm.setDebug().

You should also look at https://jira.slac.stanford.edu/browse/FREEHEP-15.
