Tatiana, John, Trey I tweaked Qserv and it will now successfully process the queries Tatiana posted, so unless there is another class of queries that JDBC issues which we haven't seen yet, things should work. The changes are on tip of Qserv master. I am not sure what the best way is for you to grab them. Can you do git pull? Don't forget you will need to rebuild qserv, and restart services (at minimum mysql proxy).
