I pushed a possible fix. It should solve Brian's problem but I don't know if
it solves Alice's problem.
wakePend in the client poller (#170)
I merged Brian's fix today.
xrootd refuses to start if a hostname starts with a number (#159)
Daniel says it's not critical. There a lot of places that make that
assumption so this isn't something that can be fixed with one patch. Given
that after 12 years we only had a single complaint, I'd say it's safe to
release without fixing this.
cms_open: unable to connect to socket (#154)
This looks like a user error. I will follow up with Wei.
