ciao, in the process of adding new DNS aliased copies to an existing
redirector, I see this "feature": if I start the new redirector, when no
server has been instructed to attach to it, it goes into state

State: Status changed to suspended

which would be acceptable given the situation.

The problem is that if I try and access a file via

*newredir:1094* (to which *newredir:1213* is registered), I would expect
the redirector just to use the *xrootd.redirect* to push me at the higher
level, while apparently it just waits forever.
Is there an option to avoid this?

thanks a lot

tom
