These look like the same errors I was seeing on Wednesday in 
hps_003001_mode7.evio.0 (and other LED runs from Dec. 1, in different FADC 
modes). On that file I got several of these errors in the first 100 
events.

It looked like the errors were coming from bad data: I got the same errors 
from JEVIO's built-in EVIO parser, and the bad events looked corrupt. At 
the time I had no other data to compare against and the files were known 
to be old, so I didn't worry about it.
