Okay, so I found this JDK from jlabl1 in our group area

/u/group/hps/hps_soft/java/jdk1.7.0_45/

But shouldn’t we be using a standard installation maintained by the JLAB admins?

So I try from jlabl1 where internet seems fine but there is no JDK installed under /usr so no javac is found to compile the modules.

Fun.  

Anyone have any tips for doing this?  (Our page on the Confluence seems to lack some detail here.)
