Hi,

The null pointer error is fixed in trunk, and I emailed you about it already. (Simple fix.)

I think the two commands should be separate for now. You would want to verify that the data is correct first in the database after the 'load' operation, before assigning a conditions record which will make that collection the production version for a run number range. At least that's how I'm looking at it.

Subject: Re: loading ECAL conditions

Hi Jeremy,

That is ok with me. But of course first the current null pointer error upon trying to "load" needs to be fixed (just making sure it didn't get lost in all your emails today:)

Also, is it possible to combine "add" and "load" into a single command for the user to execute? On a related note, can't the collection_id can then be hidden from the user? Currently it seems I need to note the existing collection_ids and then chose a nonexisting one, then use that same new integer for both "add" and "load". Seems like unnecessary overhead, or am I misunderstanding?

Thanks,
Nathan
