Hi,

I have cleaned up the ECAL conditions database (and Nathan deleted some duplicate data sets) so it looks okay now for the Engineering Run.

This is what you should see now at JLAB and on the replicated SLAC db.

mysql> select id, run_start, run_end, updated, tag, created_by, notes, name, collection_id from conditions where run_start = 2000;
+----+-----------+---------+---------------------+---------+------------+--------------------------------------------------------+-------------------+---------------+
| id | run_start | run_end | updated             | tag     | created_by | notes                                                  | name              | collection_id |
+----+-----------+---------+---------------------+---------+------------+--------------------------------------------------------+-------------------+---------------+
| 64 |      2000 |    9999 | 2014-12-13 19:43:29 | eng_run | jeremym    | verified ECAL channel map for Eng Run                  | ecal_channels     |             2 |
| 67 |      2000 |    9999 | 2014-12-13 19:44:04 | eng_run | jeremym    | dummy time shift values of all 0                       | ecal_time_shifts  |             2 |
| 69 |      2000 |    9999 | 2014-12-13 19:44:59 | eng_run | baltzell   | default ECAL LED config for Eng Run                    | ecal_leds         |             2 |
| 73 |      2000 |    9999 | 2014-12-13 19:46:23 | eng_run | baltzell   | first working version of ECAL calibrations for Eng Run | ecal_calibrations |             4 |
| 74 |      2000 |    9999 | 2014-12-13 19:46:23 | eng_run | baltzell   | first working version of ECAL gains for Eng Run        | ecal_gains        |             4 |
+----+-----------+---------+---------------------+---------+------------+--------------------------------------------------------+-------------------+---------------+

So there is now one conditions set for each type with no duplication or overlap.

The channel map looks verified and correct.

The calibrations and gains are calculated from cosmic data and should have the correct channel mapping now.  (Nathan corrected this several days ago.)

So I think this is in pretty good shape now.  You should have conditions now that can be applied to all Engineering Run raw data.  For jobs that require a ‘hard coded’ run number, you should use ‘2000’.

If you see any problems or errors with the conditions when doing recon or analysis either at JLAB or SLAC/elsewhere please let me know (via the software list).
