When defining your AIDA plots you can use the command: plotterStyle.yAxisStyle().setScaling("log”); And then just make sure to set that style when you plot, and it will always show as log scale. plotter.region(0).plot(myHisto, plotterStyle); There’s an example here. https://github.com/JeremyMcCormick/jfreechart-aida-experimental/blob/master/src/test/java/hep/aida/jfree/test/LogScaleTest.java Hope that works well enough, as it isn’t really done “on the fly."
