Hi Matt, and All,

/mss/hallb/hps/data
should be for the raw data evio files only, and only root has
write access there.

Otherwise, a “jput” will make any subdirectories as needed, expect we
need to ask for top-level subdirectories in /mss/hallb/hps.

Some good convention should be chosen before doing this, since
renaming/moving stuff requires asking a system administrator.

Currently /mss/hallb/hps/production is mc, so I proposed to make
/mss/hallb/hps/engrun contain subdirectories named according to the
version of the real data's processing. We could start with
/mss/hallb/hps/engrun/pass0; inside that can be lcio, recon, dst, ...

If that’s ok, I’ll ask for /mss/hallb/hps/engrun to be created.
