Jacek and K.T., No progress I'm aware of about NCSA rsync server. Mario has also talked about a build-in eups solution which would download required components of distribution data. (eups distrib --retrieve-pkg qserv, or somtehing like that). Nevertheless in2p3 should provide build machines with internet access on its cluster, si it is not blocking on my side.
