Hello, I went to a talk this week on systemd. The Linux world is moving to use it as a replacement for sysvinit (/etc/init.d /rc.d ), so if you work on startup scripts for services/daemons, you might be interested in learning more (if you are not sick of sysv vs systemd yet). Slides: <http://www.she-devel.com/systemd_talk.pdf>http://www.she-devel.com/systemd_talk.pdf (screen captures, demo materials on: http://www.she-devel.com/ ) The talk was very pro-systemd, and described some of the neat ideas it implemented. Anyway, just thought I'd pass the info along. Happy Friday, -Daniel ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the QSERV-L list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=QSERV-L&A=1
