Hello,
I went to a talk this week on systemd. The Linux world is moving to
use it as a replacement for sysvinit (/etc/init.d /rc.d ), so if you
work on startup scripts for services/daemons, you might be
interested in learning more (if you are not sick of sysv vs systemd
yet).

(screen captures, demo materials on: http://www.she-devel.com/ )
The talk was very pro-systemd, and described some of the neat ideas
it implemented.
Anyway, just thought I'd pass the info along.
Happy Friday,
-Daniel
