Hi Nathan,
after a fresh update and running the simulation without pileup (with
/org/hps/steering/readout/HPS2014ReadoutNoPileup.lcsim) it seems to work
without any error (so far).
If I use /org/hps/steering/readout/HPS2014ReadoutToLcio.lcsim as a
steering file I get repeated sequences of three messages:

[ GTPClusterDriver ] The input hit collection EcalFilteredHits is missing from the event.
[ GTPClusterDriver ] input hit collection EcalFilteredHits has 2 hits
[ GTPClusterDriver ] writing 2 clusters to collection EcalClusters

with a varying number of hits/clusters (the same). Though ECalHitWriter
says it's writing data and ECal hits. Maybe the EcalFilteredHits
collection is just missing since I've skipped the filtering step (which does
not work), so there's nothing else special to worry about.
cheers
     Alessandra
