Hi Yvan, Would it be possible to have RW access from qserv@ccqservbuild to /sps/lsst? This would allow the whole qserv team to use this account in order to build new Qserv versions to deploy. We would them rsync (using puppet or a crontab, what do you recommend?) the binaries build in /sps/lsst/Qserv/stack to /qserv/stack on each node. Indeed if all of us write in /sps/lsst/stack with different @ccqservbuild accounts I think we may have file perms conflicts, isn't it? And this solution allow to install the build infrastructure on only [log in to unmask] Thanks, Fabrice On 02/25/2015 10:43 AM, Yvan Calas wrote: >> On 25 Feb 2015, at 18:06, Fabrice Jammes <[log in to unmask]> wrote: >> >> TEMPORARY INSTALL PROCEDURE: >> The stack is quite relocatable except for some embedded software like swig (path to swig_lib is hardcoded at compile time). >> So, I will install stack on ccqservbuild in /qserv/stack which is a symlink to/sps/lsst/Qserv/stack >> Then on each machine I will rsync or symlink /sps/lsst/Qserv/stack to /qserv/stack.
