I confirmed already that setting a different value for the opening angle works fine provided you use the detector aliasing so the xml is read from disk rather than the jar. The new value will get picked up in your next session when the conditions are reset. The detector itself loads fine without errors or at least it did some time ago.

As far as checking other things like the recon and conditions, I believe Omar would be the best person to do this as he's already working on SVT monitoring drivers. So all that is needed to do is check that the recon looks okay when you select that particular detector model in the job settings. This is probably best checked and confirmed by a tracking expert.

Perhaps some of the shifters that have some experience with the software can look into this as well when there is no beam?
