Hi Norman,

I don’t know. The ECal in v9 is the same as v8. I didn’t touch anything else than the tracker.

Hello Pelle,
I note that the ECal description has a symmetric beam gap for top and bottom. Was the asymmetry that we had in December fixed?

Subject: New geometry release

Hi All,

I’ve created a new geometry release v9: HPS-Proposal2014-v9-2pt2

If is a straight copy of v8 except:

* It has the new tracker geometry that we need for the counting house (opening angle can be adjusted easily).

* I removed the “field definition” planes.

* I removed the “recoil” sensors

The new tracker geometry has been tested extensively on particle gun type events and also A’ events. As far as I’m concerned it can be the new standard geometry, both for the counting house and for offline.

For anyone doing work of the online monitoring or offline DQM please switch to this detector in order to exercise the real thing.

The surveyed tracker geometry will be a new release in the coming days. Sho and I need to crunch the numbers.

Let me know if there is any questions.

/pelle
