Thank you for your reply, Omar!
Actually there was a typo, I wrote ECal instead of Ecal...Holly pointed it to me.

Of course now I have another problem:

Hi
I'm trying to recon one of tuesday evio usig the following command:

java -cp /home/Luca/Scrivania/HPS-04-2015/hps_trunk/distribution/target/hps-distribution-3.3.1-SNAPSHOT-bin.jar org.hps.evio.EvioToLcio -DoutputFile=run4904 -d HPS-EngRun2015-open-v0 -r -x /org/hps/steering/recon/EngineeringRun2015ECalRecon.lcsim hps_004904.evio.0

but i get this error:

GRAVE: LCSim steering resource /org/hps/steering/recon/EngineeringRun2015ECalRecon.lcsim was not found.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: XML steering resource was not found.

I've tried to copy the steering file in the folder in which I'm running the code (and changing the command accordingly) but I get the same error..

When you copied the file to your local directory did, did you remove the -r argument from your command?  If you are running off a steering file in a local folder, you shouldn't be getting a resource not found error.

By the way, am iusing thre right detector and steering? I'd like to recon run 4904..

During that run, I believe the SVT was at +/- 4 mm so if you are planning at looking at tracks then that would be the detector to use.  However, in your case, you are just running the ECal recon so the detector you are using should be fine.

Cheers
