What I am worried/disappointed about is that I have issues with the monitoring app on two different operating systems, Centos and Mac. I can read the files with evio2xml and with LcioToEvio from Java, so the files are OK. I just don’t understand how this is possible while I seem to be the only one with this issue, and I feel frustrated that I have no tools to debug this. As long as this all works in the counting house when I try tomorrow, I will be more relieved. Can you please point me to the jar file to download from Nexus that you have tried and that actually works? That may be a starting point for me. For Jeremy: OSName: Mac OS X 10.10.3 or Centos 6.5 running inside Parallels Desktop 10.2.0 Java Version: "1.7.0_45" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_45-b18) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.45-b08, mixed mode) OR on Centos java version "1.7.0_55" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (rhel-2.4.7.1.el6_5-x86_64 u55-b13) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode) Data files tried: hpsecal_004466.evio.0 or hpsecal_004469.evio.0 (At Jlab: /w/mss/hallb/hps/data/hpsecal_004466.evio.0 ) I tried both ET ring using the Java-based one that comes with the jar and directly reading a file open from the GUI. I am not specifying a “.prop” file, so it would be whatever is the default. The system seems to load the conditions fine. Complete log file and moneval.settings file are attached, create with: java -cp ~/Downloads/hps-distribution-3.2.1-bin.jar org.hps.monitoring.application.Main -c monecal.settings 2>&1 | tee monapp_session.log Best, Maurik ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the HPS-SOFTWARE list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=HPS-SOFTWARE&A=1
