Dear all,

I made a ILC BDS optics to match to (QF1 L*)=9.5m, (QD0 L*)=4.1m and (QF1 Length)=1.0m
for ECM=250GeV, 350GeV, 500GeV and 1TeV.

The SAD optics deck files were put to
http://atf.kek.jp/twiki601/bin/view/Main/QF95QD41 .

The achieved luminosities were a little bit smaller than (QF1 L*)=9.1m.
However, the luminosities were still about 95% for ECM=250GeV, and 98% for ECM=350GeV and 500GeV
to the expectation only by linear optics.

The IP parameter for ECM=1TeV was matched to "TDR Option A" in this design.
The optics is designed to make the aspect ratio large in order to reduce the beamstrahlung.
But, since the IP vertical beam size is small, the effect of the chromatic aberration is large.
The tracking simulation said the relative luminosity to linear optics was reduced 99.8% -> 91.7%
by the momentum spread generated by Synchrotron radiation.

This is a quick evaluation of the optics for (QF1 L*)=9.5m, (QD0 L*)=4.1m and (QF1 Length)=1.0m.

regards,

Toshiyuki OKUGI, KEK
