You may want to ask Hovanes for more details. I don’t think Hovanes “listens in” on the hps-software, so you probably want to ask him directly.
What I understand of MYA is summarized here: https://halldweb1.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/EPICS_archiving_with_MYAIt is a MySQL storage for the streams of EPICS data. The page refers to a C++ API, but that webpage is behind the Jlab firewall so I cannot simply look at it. There are some commandline tools, but again, those docs are walled off.
