thanks.

the problem is then with bari redir:

-bash-4.1$ xrdmapc --list s xrootd.ba.infn.it:1094|wc
     61 122 2228
-bash-4.1$ xrdmapc --list m xrootd.ba.infn.it:1094|wc
      5 14 173

61+5-2 = 64 ... this really seems a suspicious number

we KNOW we could not force everyone NOT to use ONLY Bari, so Bari is
expected to be higher.

I was not suspecting THAT higher.

now a question: supposing it is @ 64 since it is the max, should I see on
cmsd.log any message about refusing further connections?
