   Not sure still to know exactly what "raw hits" refers to but it would 
be nice to evaluate precisely the dose each crystal receives during a 
run. For this, hits without trigger are necessary, specific runs where 
taken but apparently the pulser trigger was operating during data taking 
which is much better as it corresponds to run conditions.

Basically, a histogram of the energy deposited in each crystal is 
needed, without trigger.

If removing raw data means removing data necessary for this task I would 
recommend to wait a bit, if not ignore this message. Also I may not need 
ALL the data.
