Tatiana

I have webserv with qserv backed up and running, it is on port 8662.  Please do keep in mind our query parser is very basic, don’t run any fancy queries.

You might want to skim https://github.com/lsst/qserv/blob/master/UserManual.md to get a feel what is supported and what to avoid

Hi Tatiana,

I think Jacek will be doing that part - I don’t know how yet, and I am disappearing for 3 weeks starting tomorrow.

Cheers,
Serge

Hi,

Are you going to make this database accessible via Data Access API?

Or Firefly should keep using smm_bremerton and sdss_dr9 at lsstdev:8661?

I’ve now loaded the same data into a qserv instance on lsst-dbdev3 (as usual, connect to port 4040 as user qsmaster). I have not had the time to do testing beyond the very basics, and the tables are arranged a bit differently in Qserv compared to lsst10:

- all tables are in a database called `bremerton`
- the SDSS DR9 reference catalog is named sdss_dr9_fink_v5b
- the deepCoadd_(det/mergeDet) catalogs were not loaded at all

Cheers,
Serge

P.S. Jacek - this is still using the previous release of Qserv. Run dir is /u2/smm/run/bremerton, data dir is /u2/smm/data/bremerton, and my stack dir is /u2/smm/qserv_stack. I believe you have sudo permissions on lsst-dbdev3, and if anything needs doing while I’m out please don’t hesitate to mess around in any of those directories.
