Hi all, I had a need to integrate a webserver within a data federation this weekend and found myself writing a libdavix XrdOss plugin. See: https://github.com/bbockelm/xrootd-davix <https://github.com/bbockelm/xrootd-davix> Luckily, the DavPosix object provided by DAVIX is fairly close to what XrdOss expects - it was a pretty straightforward piece of code. With this, I can proxy requests from Xrootd to a HTTP server. Is there any interest in upstreaming components like this? I also have a xrootd-hdfs component that’s lived out-of-tree for the past 6 years that doesn’t necessarily need to be separate.
