Yes, the segfault occurs when the cmsd login process fails before the 
node object representing the connection is built.

The problem is triggered by the connecting node. You can easily cause the 
problem to occur using telnet as well.

Well, the problemm was introduced in the 4.x series but is corrected in 
4.2.3. Normally, this should rarely, if ever, occur. However, we see that 
it may occur.

That's a tricky question. My suggestion would be to go with 4.2.3 which 
solves the problem. I don't know if that it in your plan.
