of course, i just did not know how to explain better ...
so the context is this :
we want to decommission an ancient server and for that we make a list of
files (from ls -Rl) to be sent to operations (ALICE) in order to have a
transfer from this node to other nodes.
The thing is that a part were ok and others not...
the server is storage01.spacescience.ro
bad file : 000191b2-3b36-11de-af8f-0018fe730ae5
local path :
/storage01/xrddata/home/aliprod/data/09/06112/000191b2-3b36-11de-af8f-0018fe730ae5

good file : 0000eec2-61f8-11e3-84f9-00266cfd8b68
local path :
/storage01/xrddata/home/aliprod/data/06/17692/0000eec2-61f8-11e3-84f9-00266cfd8b68

The thing is that i dont know how LOCALROOT (oss.localroot) is related
to file resolution as since 2005 i dont remember if the setting was in
place from the beginning .. (in xrddata we have 254369 files but in
xrdnamespace 313 symlinks)
67606 files (3.715 TB) were successfully copied from a total of 4.1 TB

Thank you!!
