I'll look into consolidating the G4 data though the older slic install is likely not compatible with the newer files so likely we'd need at least two installs of the data for the time being.

Agree on other packages.  We should use JLAB site installations whenever possible unless we have some special config that we need to install.

Is it possible to get more space for this dir?  The current 23g is not really that much space.
