Dear Colleagues,

For your information- there are a new set of lattice files available which reflect CR-2 (4.1m L*) requirements. The decks are available in the ilc-lattices repository (https://bitbucket.org/whitegr/ilc-lattices) under the “dev” branch. It is envisioned to include these changes in the next official (probably 2015b) release along with changes pertaining to CR-4 (lengthened linac tunnel) such that the IP collision timing constraints are met.

The BDS decks can be built by calling the xsif (MAD8) routines in comfiles/BeamDelivery (eBDS for electrons, pBDS for positrons)- configurations for the TDR 200, 230, 250, 350, 500 and 1 TeV (A and B) parameters are available by selecting the appropriate lines in the eBDS.xsif/pBDS.xsif command file.

These optics represent a merging of the SAD collimation and FFS optics designs reported previously by Okugi-san into the R2015a set of BDS optics files.

A brief summary of changes with respect to R2015a are given in the eBDS.xsif command file. Please contact me if you detect any issues with the new decks.

Regards,

- Glen.
