Hi all Test Facilities users! SLAC will close over the winter holiday in accordance with Stanford University practice. Most areas of the lab will shut down at the close of business Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, and most will start back up Monday, Jan. 4, 2015. Although there are some approved activities, non-employees (users, affiliates, visitors etc) are generally not expected to come on site and will be turned away at security. (The one exception I know of is the Gas Phase UED meeting - the participant list for this meeting will be given to security and site access permitted to individuals on the list. This has already been arranged.) Please contact me if you are a FACET & Test Facilities user/non-employee and have a strong reason to be on site related to your work at the facilities. I can assist in getting approval on a case-by-case basis, but these should be well justified. The deadline for requesting such exceptions is COB Tuesday (tomorrow).
