I'm running an xrootd server with ceph plugin and thus dealing with objects. By nature, their names are not always starting with a '/'. For this purpose, I have the entry 'all.export *?' in my xrd.cf file and I can happily transfer objects. The problem comes when I want to drop one. Here is what happens : # xrdfs lxbrl59a04.cern.ch:1095 rm testbigfile [ERROR] Server responded with an error: [3010] Removing path '/testbigfile' is disallowed. Obviously a leading '/' was added. Now as the object /testbigfile does not exist, I get an error, but I could as well have dropped the wrong object ! --- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/xrootd/xrootd/issues/314 ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-DEV list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-DEV&A=1
