That isn't a repository. The repository root is
/raid/lauren/rerun/LSST/STRIPE82L/v2, and it ("virtually") incorporates
files from its parent /raid/lauren/rerun/LSST/STRIPE82L/v2/_parent,
a.k.a. /lsst3/HSC/data, including the _mapper file.
(I thought I explained this in HipChat once.)
