Hello All,

I’ve just committed a new detector which uses Pelle’s latest geometry and adds the

fieldmap for 2.3GeV running. It is:

HPS-PhysicsRun2016-Nominal-v4-4-fieldmap

and uses the fieldmap which can be found here:

http://www.lcsim.org/resources/hps/fieldmap/209acm2_5kg_corrected_unfolded_scaled_1.04545.dat

Download this file into a fieldmap subdirectory or provide a link there.

Please let me know if you have any questions or encounter any difficulties.

Norman

Thanks,

Can these be used for 2.3 GeV, or would the fieldmap be a better option for that energy?

Hi all, again,

I added LCDD files for these.

NOTE:  if you run readout/recon with these you need to run with the database alignment constants DISABLED. If you don’t know what that means talk to me or Sho directly.

Cheers,

Pelle

Hi,

I added new detectors for a couple of opening angles we would imagine running monitoring at.

HPS-PhysicsRun2016-*v4-4

The SVT alignment is the same as HPS-EngRun2015-Nominal-v3-4-fieldmap.

The ECal is based on the HPS-EngRun2015-Nominal-v4-4-fieldmap.

The B-field was set to 0.5T and we are not using the field map for these.

Also, I'll check on the new detector you submit, but the Ecal part should be from v4-4.

Hi Pelle, Norman,

Yes, that's great. We will use this to generate singles1 calibration for the next run.

Thanks!

Hi Holly,

I have some new detectors. Let me look at something real quick and then commit and you can take a look if this is what you want. 1.5h?

Hi,

We are ready to generate monte carlo that we can use for Ecal calibration, but I am wondering if we have a new detector available that has a B-field corresponding to 2.3 GeV running. Is anyone working on this? I think just a new field map is needed.

It really won't make much of a difference for looking at FEE at the Ecal only, but since we are going to generate this MC and others may want to use it, we should make it accurate.
