Dear HPS Software Group, We will have our regular HPS Software meeting this Thursday, 9am Pacific, noon East Coast, 6pm Europe. I would like to discuss the tasks ahead, and get a *brief* report on any software projects that people are currently working on. Please find below the agenda a list of topics and tasks to address these topics. It would be great to get a lot of input on these lists! I am sure that I missing a few really important items. Agenda: Topics and Tasks — All Software Roundtable - brief reports -- All Questions? — All Topics: Monte Carlo and Data don’t agree. Issue with tracking efficiency in data? Differences between MC and data? Generators? Background? Trident/Möller selection? Geometry? Code is too slow. Earlier decision to drop event? Optimize the tracking / tracking strategies? Find t0 and amplitude faster for ECal pulse and SVT pulse. Further/other optimizations? Tasks: Tracking efficiency for data — Norman Differences between MC and Data: Trident selection correct & pure? — Rafo Sufficient background events included? Möller selection correct & pure? — Bradley Create tools to mix pulser data with MC signal — ? Geometry of MC sufficiently close? — ? Add SVT dead material to geometry — ?
