Seems something is strange with this particular file, Analyzing with lcio C++ API, I also get only 39 events from this file. My event loop is following "while( (ev = lcReader->readNextEvent()) != 0)" so it returns 0 after 39-th event. dumping events from this file with dumpevent command it is fine up to 39, but on event 40 or 41 it says Konsole output -bash-4.1$ dumpevent hps_007983.110_recon_R3.9.slcio 40 less than 40 events in file hps_007983.110_recon_R3.9.slcio But then on event 42 it shows the event, however the 40 and 41, are not only events with these behavior, there are many in this file. So I guess dstmaker is also looping similarly as "ev = lcReader->readNextEvent()) != 0", therefore it also shows 39 events only.
