Hi Omar,

That was going to be my next try, but Jeremy’s directions cleared things up for me.

I killed my .m2 repo then ran the standard command and everything is fixed now.

Can you try this?

mvn clean install -DskipTests -U

The "-U" switch should force Maven to update the lcsim snapshot jars.

That did the trick. How do I get the standard command to work? Just delete my old repo?

Are you able to build using a command like the following? (bash/Linux)

mvn clean install -DskipTests -Dmaven.repo.local=$PWD/.m2repo -U

This will build into a clean repo so all jar files should be updated.

I'm also getting the same error as Norman, even after installing the dependencies to a local Maven repo.

        Hi,

Several people reported to me that they are getting build errors with hps-java.

A clean build into an empty repo worked fine for me just now....

cd hps-java; mvn clean install -DskipTests -Dmaven.repo.local=$PWD/m2repo

According to the Unix admins here, there were some NFS issues yesterday that were causing all kinds of bizaare, site-wide problems at SLAC, but it seems to have cleared up today.

If you're still having troubles with it, please send the details to the software list.
