Dear Colleague,

this is the second announcement of Higgs Couplings 2016, to be held at
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in Menlo Park, CA, USA from 9-12
November 2016.

Higgs Couplings 2016 is this year's installment of an annual workshop
devoted to new experimental and theoretical results on the Higgs
boson. The 2016 workshop will present the latest results from the LHC
run 2 on the Higgs boson mass, spin/parity, and couplings and will
present new theoretical work devoted to the measurement of Higgs
parameters and possibilities for exotic Higgs decays. The workshop
will provide an opportunity for critical discussion of the current
strategies for studying the Higgs boson at the LHC and the next steps
in the LHC program.

For further information please refer to the workshop website:

   http://www-conf.slac.stanford.edu/hc16/

The registration is now open, and can be reached from the main web
page or directly at

   https://app.certain.com/profile/form/index.cfm?PKformID=0x23274443cf0

We suggest participants to register and arrange for travel and
accommodation as early as possible, especially if they need to obtain a
Visa to enter the US. Since accommodation in the Silicon Valley can be
very expensive, we also suggest to timely book a room at the Stanford
guest house: we have a block reservation for all participants to the
workshop that expires on September 1st.

Higgs Couplings 2016 will include two sessions of parallel
contributions on current research topics. The organizers encourage the
submission of abstracts for 15+5-minute talks. In selecting the talks
to be presented, we will give priority to graduate students and
postdoctoral fellows. Abstracts from members of ATLAS and CMS should
be submitted through their respective speakers committees and thus be
proposed and discussed within the respective Higgs working groups.

The workshop will be preceded by a meeting of the exotics subgroup of
the LHC Higgs Cross Section Working Group. This meeting will take
place Nov 7-8, at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. More
information can be found on http://indico.cern.ch/e/HE16.

We look forward to your participation.

Sincerely,

The Higgs Couplings 2016 organizers
