If I understand correctly what you want to do, if you look in the compact.xml there are parameters) that tells you the opening angle of the tracker L1-3.

            <!-- top support tilt angles -->

            <millepede_constant name="13100" value="0.0031" /> <!-- + means opening-->
            <millepede_constant name="13200" value="0.0" />
            <millepede_constant name="13300" value="0.0" />

            <!-- bottom support tilt angles -->
            <millepede_constant name="23100" value="-0.0033" />  <!-- - means opening -->
            <millepede_constant name="23200" value="0.0" />
            <millepede_constant name="23300" value="0.0" />

When you create the LCDD for slic it would use these values I think.

Correct - the run DB has that info so readout/recon should be fine. I'm guessing Holly's asking about making an LCDD for running SLIC (SLIC doesn't know about the conditions DB). I think DetectorConverter (see https://confluence.slac.stanford.edu/display/hpsg/Detector+Geometry+Overview) has a -r option that lets you specify a run number.

Isn't it the case that v4-4, v5-* detectors get the first layers' positions (0.5/1.5 mm) from the run database?  I forgot.  Sho/Pelle?

Hi all,

Is there any easy way to generate a 1.5mm detector for the 2015 running using all of the latest updated post trident fixes?

Thanks,
Holly
