Bonjour

Un arrêt des systèmes informatiques du CC-IN2P3 est programmé le 6 décembre 2016 prochain. Nous attirons votre attention sur le fait que la plupart des services du CC seront inaccessibles de 6h à 18h. Certains services ne seront opérationnels que le 7 décembre 2016 à partir de 9h ou 18h.

Les opérations suivantes sont prévues:

- Interventions sur l'infrastructure OpenStack.
- Maintenance des services SPS (GPFS), HPSS, dCache, Web, Service de Grilles, Accès Interactif, MariaDb, Dirac
- Installation d'une nouvelle version du gestionnaire de batch (Grid Engine)

La soumission des jobs sera bloquée le lundi 5 décembre 2016 à 22h. Les jobs pourront redémarrer progressivement le 6 décembre 2016 à partir de 18h en fonction des services utilisés. Les jobs encore présents sur la ferme de calcul le 6 décembre 2016 à 6h seront supprimés.

Les services suivants seront indisponibles le 7 décembre 2016 (CEST time):

- Services web: Gitlab, OTRS, Atrium, CIC portal, Webcast, Boxroom, DNS for Labo, Jenkins, CC web sites, sites hébergés (08:00 à 14:00)
- Service Dirac (08:00 à 18:00)


Les services suivants fonctionneront en mode dégradé (CEST time):

- Accès interactif sur cca.in2p3.fr (12:00 à 18:00)
- Gestionnaire de batch: les jobs redémarreront progressivement à partir de 18:00 le 6 décembre 2016
- iRODS : pas de migration de/vers HPSS de 07:00 à 15:00.

Dear users,

An outage of IT systems at CC-IN2P3 is scheduled on december the 6th of 2016. We draw your attention to the fact that most of the services will be unavailable from 6am to 6pm. Some of them will be available only on december the 7th of 2016 at 9am or even at 6pm.

The following interventions are planned (CEST time):

- Interventions on OpenStack infrastructure
- Maintenance on SPS (GPFS), HPSS, dCache, Web, Grid, Interactive access, MariaDb, Dirac services
- Upgrade of batch service (Grid Engine)

The job submission will be closed on monday 5 december 2016 at 10pm. Jobs could start again on december 6th 2016 at 6 pm dependly of the requested services. Take care that jobs still running on the batch farm at 6 am on december the 6th of 2016 will be killed.

- Batch system: jobs will restart gradually from 18:00 on December 6, 2016
- iRODS : no data migration to/from HPSS from 07:00 to 15:00.
