What problems are you having exactly? This works for me for a fresh install ... $ mv ~/.JAS3/extensions ~/.JAS3/extensions.bak $ wget http://java.freehep.org/maven2/org/freehep/jas-assembly/3.2.2/jas-assembly-3.2.2-distribution.tar.gz $ tar -zxf jas-assembly-3.2.2-distribution.tar.gz $ cd hps-java; mvn clean install -DskipTests Now start JAS3 using the 'jas3' command from './jas-assembly-3.2.2/jas3' and it should update installed plugins and restart.
