Hi all,

the problem is solved and I can access the database through the proxy
remotely now. I tried many different things, so I'm not sure what it
finally was. However, I think I know what is needed to do to have an own
database accessible and will do some more tests on another install
tomorrow and then post to the list what solved this issue.

Cheers,
  Marcus
