Dear Colleagues, The 2017 Americas Workshop on Linear Colliders (AWLC17) will take place at SLAC from June 26 to 30, 2017. AWLC17 is organized by the Linear Collider Collaboration (LCC). The workshop will be devoted to the study of the physics cases for future high energy linear electron positron colliders, taking into account the recent results from LHC, and to review the progress in the detector and accelerator design for both the ILC and CLIC projects. See https://portal.slac.stanford.edu/sites/conf_public/AWLC17/Pages/default.aspx This email is an invitation for proposals and contributions to the Vertex and Tracking sessions. We welcome abstracts on: - detector technologies for vertexing and tracking systems - R&D report on silicon and gaseous detectors - results of testbeam campaigns and resolution studies - electronics, mechanics, cooling system, power pulsing and auxiliary systems - pattern recognition and track reconstruction - any other topics related to vertexing and tracking devices Please send the title and a short abstract to the conveners: Akimasa Ishikawa (Tohoku) [log in to unmask] Jan Strube (PNNL) [log in to unmask] Ivan Vila (Santander) [log in to unmask] Please forward this call for abstracts to other colleagues who you think will be interested and could have been missed in our mailing list. We encourage a prompt registration to the workshop. Best Regards, AWLC17 Vertex/Tracking Session Conveners: Akimasa Ishikawa (Tohoku) Jan Strube (PNNL) Ivan Vila (Santander) ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the SID-ALL list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=SID-ALL&A=1
