Hi Alex,
Basically the test suite expects to run on top of a XRootD cluster ;-)
It expects a setup with 1 meta-manager, 2 mangers and 4 data servers,
and it has to be run from the meta-manager node + the data servers have
to have specific test files.
So just to summarize those tests require a rather specific set-up ;-)
In here you will find some scripts that setup a set of docker container where
you can run the test suite:
https://gitlab.cern.ch/dss/dss-ci-docker/tree/master/xrootd
./start.sh starts those containers, ./clean.sh cleans up everything.
The xrootd-ci.cfg has to point to an xrootd repo with RPMS that you want to test.
(those scripts are far from being perfect and any improvements are welcome ;-)
