Then, again > randomly, it starts working again. It's not really strange nor random. dcache has settings for: dcache.net.wan.port.min = 20000 dcache.net.wan.port.max = 25000 dcache.net.lan.port.min = 20000 dcache.net.lan.port.max = 25000 (valued copied from one of my testpools) when .wan. is for wan-safe protocols and xrootd being unsafe is .lan. If the pool has max-min less than the amount of movers allowed, the pool will run out (and it will give a nice error message). If will eventually recover when the other transfers end and ports are freed. Ask the dcache admin to fix this. > Any similar experience? > > thanks a lot > > tom > > -- > Tommaso Boccali > INFN Pisa > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list > > To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-L list, click the following link: > https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-L&A=1 > -- Ulf Tigerstedt || Senior systems specialist CSC Oy || NeIC NT1 / NDGF GSM +358503818558 Johannesbergsvägen 17 || Närpes || Finland ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-L list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-L&A=1
