Well "tagging pre-releases more often" sounds a lot like "having the build system produce usable RPMs". It is one way forward I suggest and I think can be made workable. It may be the simplest route *for development* is to keep things the way they are. However, that's the worst route *for testing*. I believe the lack of usable, accessible pre-release packages for testers has significantly decreased the participation in testing, which in turn has been a contributor to issues like we saw with 4.6.0. -- You are receiving this because you commented.
