Hi, I do, and also make my own builds. And I agree that the current naming scheme is a major annoyance, for many reasons that you already mentioned. To keep it simple I would propose to add the HHMM of the build invokation to the date in the rpm filenames. We do this for all our projects since 6 years and it works fine without needing scripts or other hacks. Keeping also the version number in front of the datetime would be a major plus, as right now it is stripped (why !??!)
