(#521) IMHO, the clear winner is keeping things as they are. :) It seems to me that you'll only be complicating everybody's life unnecessarily just so that some people could use one rpm command instead of two in a testing environment. Unless, of course, it is not the end goal of all this. Merging things back to master only makes sense if you do significant developments in stable branches, which is not the case for XRootD. Besides, your linear numbering will be even more confusing if you do that. Go check that out for a couple of stable releases. :) — You are receiving this because you commented.
