Hi Kyle,
I way I use to inspect geometries is to view the lcdd file through slic. 
If it still works, here there are some explanations about how to do it:

maybe it's too coarse to your needs, but usually gives helpful 
information. I don't remember about the vacuum box being displayed by 
defauls but if not it can be switched on in the rendering.
