Alright - there's probably a debugging level for the acc system we're missing somewhere. Can you try adding this:
acc.audit deny grant
Looking at the code from Fabrizio, it seems that the group field is not populated but the org one is. Maybe:
o atlas /beegfs/grid/atlas/atlaslocalgroupdisk lr
?
(note: we don't use this plugin for authorizing locally, so I'm just guessing here...)
